“I think painting rifles is fun. … It gives it a little bit of character, which is always fun,” author Garand Thumb says. “A lot of people were like, ‘Hey, why do you need to camouflage your rifle?’ Well, we live in America, we can do whatever the hell we want — so there’s that.”
