Legacy Sports and Davidson’s Release Exclusive HOWA Superlite

Offering sub-MOA accuracy and a super light weight, the HOWA Superlite has remained popular among hunters. For this reason, Legacy Sports International and Davison’s released a Davidson’s exclusive version of the platform. The result is a rifle designed for performance, with aesthetics to match.

The Davidson’s Exclusive Howa Superlite Rifle

Featuring a STOCKY’s carbon fiber stock, the Superlite comes in at a lightweight 4 pounds 7 ounces. Decorated with burnt bronze and OD green sponge pattern, a black webbing over the top provides additional texture and grip. In addition, the ergonomic design of the stock makes it easy to handle and shoot.

The machined receiver and forged bolt with integral bolt handle and pressure vent holes provide one of the safest actions on the market. In addition, the M-16 style extractor/ejector provides reliable shell extraction after each shot. Correspondingly, the receiver, bolt, and trigger guard feature a burnt bronze cerakote finish for a long life.

The 20-inch burnt bronze cerakote barrel, with a 1:10 twist, is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308, or 7mm-08. However, a .243 model will be available in June, according to the company. The barrel features a 1/2×28 thread pitch for the addition of a suppressor or other muzzle device. But, the Davidson’s exclusive comes with a muzzle brake already attached for improved muzzle control.

Rounds are sent down range via the HACT (HOWA Actuator Controlled Trigger) adjustable trigger with an approximately 3-pound factory set pull. The capacity of the Superlite is 4+1 with the flush-fit detachable magazine. Finally, a detachable one-piece, 13-slot Picatinny rail offers the ability to easily mount the scope of your choice.
