Safety Gear

Eye and ear protection are two of the most important items you must wear to a firing range, and both types of safety gear are worn for distinct reasons. Ear protection is worn to protect a shooter from hearing loss, and eye protection is worn to protect a shooter’s eyeballs from flying cases and debris from a firearm’s recoil. Luckily, this shooting bundle comes with both types of safety gear for you to wear. 

The hearing protection included in this kit are low-profile muffs that are made with soft and comfortable padded ear cups. Alongside this, they have an adjustable headband and foldable design which makes these muffs easy to store in either your gun safe or range bag when you are not using them. They have a 26db NRR, and I found that they did a great job protecting my ears from loud noises. 

Nonetheless, these ear shields were able to be worn for extended periods of time and super easy to slip on and off. I have used over ears in the past and have never quite enjoyed them, but as far as the Ranger Hearing Protection go, I would gladly wear them again with zero hesitation.

As for eye protection, Otis Technology keeps it simple by providing the user with clear-framed eye protection in this shooting bundle. Smaller targets are not my personal favorite ones to use, but I do find that these targets make a great backup option to use if you are in a pinch. Plus, their smaller size makes them easily able to fit inside your range bag for safe keeping. Targets are always the last thing on my mind to bring to the range, and I typically always end up forgetting to bring them. But with these small bullseye paper targets, I know I will not have that problem anymore. 

Cleaning Kit

The last item that a shooter needs is a firearm cleaning kit, and luckily, this bundle comes with a Breech-to-Muzzle Gun Cleaning Kit. A clean firearm is a firearm that is able to work at its top performance, which is why it is extremely important you maintain your firearm. This cleaning kit includes a multitude of items such as a thread connector, Memory-Flex cables, T-Handles, bronze bore brushes, slotted tips, small and large patch savers, cotton patches, a chamber flag, an obstruction remover, and lastly FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP. The cotton patches are made to clean .17 caliber to 12-gauge firearms, while the bronze bore brushes are able to clean firearms chambered in .22, .27, .30 caliber, 9mm, .45 caliber and 12 gauge. 

The thing I enjoyed most about this kit is that it comes in a small, compact carrying case that makes it easy to store in either your range bag or firearm safe. Plus, I loved that the Lubricant Elite CLP was an all-in-one product made to clean, lubricate, and protect your firearm. This kit also comes with an 11x 17-inch cleaning mat that has a non-slip rubber backing to prevent the CLP oil from seeping through. The mat is also lightly padded to protect your firearm and prevent it from moving around. Overall, this cleaning kit was able to clean many diverse types of firearms and cleaned them effectively and easily.
