Following the success of its initial collaboration with Vertx, Premier Body Armor announces its continued partnership. As a result, the company releases the full line of custom-fit ballistic inserts for Vertx’s Gen 3 bags and slings. So, regardless of the activity and pack size need, you can do it in safety and confidence.

Premier Body Armor and Vertx Continue Collaboration with Full Line

As reported below, Premier Body Armor and Vertx started their collaboration with three Gen 3 bags and slings. The Level IIIA ballistic inserts from Premier Body Armor are the thinnest and lightest on the market, according to the company. Each insert is specially designed to fit perfectly within the hidden armor pockets of Vertx Gen 3 bags and slings.

In addition to the three in our previous report, Premier Body Armor has added seven new panels. As a result, the entire line of new Vertx Gen 3 bags and slings is covered. Almost all of the bags/slings are available as a bundle, but check the site for availability.

If you are in the market for a good backpacking/bugout style pack, there are three new options to choose from. The largest of the three is the Overlander, with 45 liters of space. It fits a 12×18.8-inch panel for maximum protection. Next is the Ruck Roll with 35 liters of storage and an 11×15-inch panel. Finally, the Basecamp offers 30 liters of storage and a 12.5×19-inch panel.

For getting around town or fast grab-and-go options, Vertx’s slings provide protection and quick EDC portability. The largest of the slings is the Commuter, with 22 liters of storage and a 11×16.8-inch panel. Next in line is the Keryx messenger bag with 20 liters of storage and a 11×16.8 panel. Finally, the Transit provides a smaller option with 17 liters of storage and a 11×17.3-inch panel. All three slings feature a CCW compartment for your daily carry pistol.

Finally, for those traversing town and just needing a little something for your EDC is the SOCP Tactical Fanny Pack. With plenty of room for your typical daily needs, the SOCP fits an 8.5×5.5-inch panel as well.

TSA Approved

Meeting NIJ ballistic standards for Level IIIA protection, the ballistic panels are also stab and slash-resistant. Constructed of para-aramid ballistic core and 500 Denier CORDURA outer shell, the panels are just .22-inch thick. Likewise, they are extremely lightweight.

Worth noting is that the ballistic panels are TSA approved. So, if you plan to travel using any of the Vertx bags or slings as your carry on, you won’t need to remove your insert. As a result, you can set it and forget it. This means, every time you reach for your bag/sling, you’re protected.
