The Primary Arms GLx RS-15 Mini Reflex Sight Boasts Advanced Technology

Primary Arms announces its latest red dot optic, the GLx RS-15 mini reflex sight. According to the company, the optic features advanced technology and user-centric features to get shooters on target faster. For example, the GLx RS-15 features the Primary Arms ACSS Vulcan Dot reticle, making it easier to center the reticle.

Constructed of 7075 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, the GLx RS-15 holds up to demanding hard use. Likewise, the waterproof and shockproof build also ensures that the optic can withstand harsh environmental elements. Further, the multi-coated lens offers ideal light transmission, while the 26x20mm aperture offers superior target acquisition and engagement capabilities.

Weighing 1.11 ounces, the optic adds little weight to your pistol’s slide and won’t impede its overall operation. Additionally, the GLx RS-15 utilizes the C-More mounting footprint but also includes a Glock MOS-compatible mounting plate.

Within the housing is the Primary Arms Red Dot Bright ACSS Vulcan reticle with 3 MOA center dot and 230 MOA outer circle. Correspondingly, the outer circle helps users guide the dot to the center of view when it falls outside the window. However, more experienced shooters can turn off the outer circle to preserve battery life. In addition, windage and elevation adjustments are made with a click value of .5 MOA.

Side-mounted buttons allow users to cycle through 13 reticle brightness settings, including three night vision-compatible settings. Operating on a single CR2032 3V lithium coin battery, the GLx RS-15 provides 1,001 – 5,000 hours of battery life—based on reticle and brightness settings. Likewise, the AutoLive motion-sense technology preserves battery life by shutting off the optic when not in use and waking it when it senses motion.

Finally, the top-loading battery compartment allows for a battery change without removing the optic. As a result, this reduces the need to re-zero it after battery replacement.

“We are excited to release GLx RS-15, our first ground up design to feature the ACSS Vulcan reticle,” says Stephen Morgan, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. “The large window, top loading battery and Vulcan reticle make it the perfect optic for range, carry, and competition.”
