Concealed carry and the tactics it calls upon differ from person to person, and Paul Harrell will be the first to admit that.

If you’re unfamiliar with the name Paul Harrell, you might want to familiarize yourself with his YouTube channel. He discusses a number of important firearm tips, ranging from ammo selection to home defense and everything in between.

One of Harrell’s most viewed videos details “Five Things To Have for Concealed Carry.” While most items on the list are not unheard of when it comes to concealed carry, it’s more how he comes up with the list that matters.

Harrell’s list includes the following items:

  • Gun and reasonable amount of ammunition
  • Cell phone
  • Camera
  • Flashlight, operable with one hand
  • Attorney’s business card; Attorney on retainer

Also, as a sixth and most obvious item, is a concealed carry permit. Again, while most of the items might be regarded as common sense carries, the reasoning behind each is more the focus point of Harrell’s video.

Watch the video above for more on Paul Harrell’s tactics when it comes to concealed carry and learn why the items on his list are so important.
