The CITADEL TIDALWAVE Shorty Pump-Action Shotgun

There’s a new shorty in town, and it’s making waves in the 12-gauge scattergun arena. Featuring a length ideal for close-quarters self-defense, CITADEL releases its new TIDALWAVE compact shotgun. And it is coming in at a price point that makes it accessible to almost any budget.

The CITADEL TIDALWAVE 12-Gauge Shotgun

Building on an aluminum alloy receiver, the TIDALWAVE features a synthetic Raptor-style grip with three finger grooves. Likewise, a textured, polygonal-structured foregrip helps provide enhanced handling of the diminutive scattergun. In addition, the receiver itself includes a 3/8 dovetail running the length of the top for attaching an optic.

Chambered in 12-gauge, the chamber fits shells up to 3 inches and can cycle 2.75 and 3-inch shells interchangeably. Correspondingly, the barrel features a fixed cylinder choke, making it ideal for self- and home defense. Likewise, the 14.75-inch barrel keeps the package at a 26-inch overall length, which is easier to maneuver in close quarters.

Sitting atop the barrel is the standard bead front sight, providing a familiar aiming solution. Additionally, sitting below the barrel is the magazine tube, delivering an overall capacity of 4+1 in 3-inch shells. At the butt of the Raptor grip and magazine tube are swivel studs to attach a sling for easier transport. Although it accepts standard slings, a Paracord sling is included with the TIDALWAVE.

The TIDALWAVE is currently only available in black, and there is no word regarding other colorways. Although it is available now, it will be making its official debut at the coming SHOT Show.
