Building on the sturdy framework of its best-selling TH-series, Taurus adds the TH10—the company’s first 10mm. The new pistol offers a smooth double-action pull, with subsequent follow-up shots breaking cleanly in single action. In addition, the thumb safety doubles as a de-cocker, so you can carry cocked and locked or hammer down.

The Taurus TH10

Like the rest of the TH-series, the TH10 is built on a tough polymer frame. Likewise, its construction was carefully thought out to withstand the big bore punishment of the powerful 10mm round. Presenting a fully ambidextrous design, all controls are set up for both right- and left-handed operation without the need for alteration.

The ergonomic grip features finger grooves and strategically textured front and back straps, as well as side panels. In addition, the beavertail and high undercut trigger guard help to promote a high, solid purchase. As a result, the TH10 provides optimal retention while reducing the risk of slide bite.

Riding atop the full-size frame is an alloy steel slide with a matte black finish and rear cocking serrations. The sight picture is provided via a fixed front sight coupled with a drift adjustable rear sight. Correspondingly, the sights feature an industry-standard dovetail design, so they can be easily replaced with after-market sights of your choice. Also, a two-slot Picatinny rail sits just forward of the trigger guard for attaching a light or laser.

Promising enhanced accuracy, the TH10 features a premium stainless steel barrel chambered in 10mm. Likewise, a meticulously crafted recoil spring and guide rod ensure optimized performance of the powerful 10mm pistol. As a result, this contributes to the overall durability and longevity of the firearm.

The hammer-fired pistol operates via a traditional DA/SA trigger. This delivers a long, smooth double-action pull on the first shot and a clean, crisp single-action break on follow-up shots. Likewise, the TH10 can be carried cocked and locked or hammer down via Taurus’ innovative thumb safety/de-cocker combination.

The TH10 offers a capacity of 15+1, ensuring enough ammo for personal or home defense. In addition, each pistol ships with two 15-round magazines.
